Project Team Minutes October 2, 2007

The Project Team met on October 2 with all members present.

The meeting was called ahead of the next scheduled meeting at the request of Pat and Dale. The purpose of the meeting was to determine if the Team was ready to request funds for design work at the October 8 Session Meeting.

The meeting proceeded as follows:

Pastor Bob opened and closed the meeting with prayer.

  • Dale presented information he had received from General Steel regarding design and construction costs.
  • After discussing the timing of the project, the dates of the Session meetings and our current project scope; the Team unanimously agreed to request the Session approve funds ($10,000-$15,000) for the purpose of having General Steel begin design work for our multipurpose facility.


As a result of this meeting the following action items were agreed to:

  • Additional information will be gathered from General Steel regarding design content, timing and design reimbursement if General Steel receives construction bid. - Dale
  • Continue with design plan view and internal layout detailing. - Carl
  • Present to Session on October 8, the request for design funds. - Dale and Pat
  • Contact the City Planning Office to begin zoning discussion. - Richard

The next meeting will be Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 6:00 PM at the Church.
